Ibarra Adventure is an educational mobile app for Android that combines augmented reality (AR) and geolocation to turn the city of Ibarra into an open-air museum.
As they walk through the city, users trigger geo-referenced points of interest that reveal history, 3D models and multimedia about each monument and landmark. The goal is to bring local cultural heritage closer to residents and tourists in a playful, immersive way.
